Sales of Bajaj Auto Ltd. were flat at 3,47,004 units in June 2022 compared to 3,46,136 units in the year-ago period, according to a statement released on Friday.
Domestic sales (two-wheelers and commercial vehicles) declined 15% year-on-year to 1,38,351 units last month even as exports rose 13% to 2,08,653 units.
Total two-wheeler volumes, including exports stood at 3,15,948 units -- an increase of 2% over the year ago. Domestic sales declined nearly 20% to 1,25,083 vehicles while exports grew 23% to 1,90,865 units.
Total commercial vehicles sales declined 13% year-on-year to 31,056 units as compared to 35,558 vehicles in June 2021, according to the statement.
On Friday, Bajaj Auto shares fell 2.22% to Rs 3,623.55 apiece even as the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex ended 0.21% lower at 32,907.93 points.
