AirAsia is once again offering fares for as low as Rs 990. AirAsia has earlier also offered such low fares.
However, to avail the AirAsia offer, customers must book tickets in advance. The last date to avail the promotional offer on most routes is July 19, for other routes it ends on July 26.
Customers can choose from different travel periods across routes that AirAsia operates on.
The AirAsia offer is valid on both domestic and international routes.
Under the offers, customers can fly from Bengaluru to destinations like Goa and Kochi for Rs 990 (all-inclusive). Guwahati to Imphal tickets are also available for Rs 990 as are Pune to Bengaluru tickets.
Domestic airlines have been coming up with promotional fares almost every other week in a bid to garner market share in a highly competitive market. This in turn has helped boost passenger traffic significantly. Domestic airlines carried 322 lakh passengers during January-May 2015 as against 267 lakh during the corresponding period a year ago - an increase of over 20 per cent.
