Sales of heavy and medium commercial vehicles declined by 8 per cent to 8,201 units last month as against 8,903 units in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.
Light commercial vehicle sales grew by 2 per cent to 2,696 units as compared to 2,641 units in August last year, it added.
