Upcoming Smartphone Launches In August 2025 In India: Google Pixel 10, Vivo V60, More

The month of August will see a number of smartphones launches in India. Among these are the highly anticipated Google Pixel 10 series and a couple of smartphones each from the Vivo and Oppo stables.

Here’s a look at upcoming smartphone launches in August.

During its Made by Google event on Aug. 20, the tech major will introduce its Pixel 10 lineup, likely including the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold. The series is expected to be powered by Google’s latest 3nm Tensor G5 chipset, with camera upgrades in Pro models and bigger display and battery for the 10 Pro Fold. Other expected features include faster ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, Wi-Fi 6E, and Qi 2 support, with vapour chamber, ultra-res zoom, Wi-Fi 7, Thread compatibility, and UWB connectivity only in Pro variants.

The upcoming Vivo V60 is being claimed as “India’s slimmest smartphone in the 6500mAh battery category” and confirmed to get a Zeiss-backed camera set plus telephoto lens with 100x zoom. The sleek and compact smartphone will come in three colours — Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray — and likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Other expected specs include a 6.67-inch 1.5K quad-curved Amoled display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. 

The Vivo Y400 is rumoured to feature Qualcomm SM4450 or Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, with 8GB RAM and Android 15. It could pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, Amoled display, and IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust protection. It is expected to come in Olive Green and Glam White hues.

The Oppo K13 Turbo series, which was recently launched in China, comprise the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro. While the K13 Turbo has the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, the K13 Turbo Pro comes with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Both phones have a 50MP primary camera, 7,000mAh battery, a 7,000mm sq vapour chamber. The Chinese models have 6.8-inch 1.5K Amoled screens with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
