Google has officially launched the Pixel 10a globally. The gadget is now open to pre-ordering on Flipkart and the Google India store. It is the successor to last year's Google Pixel 9a.
The gadget is available in four colour options: Obsidian, Fog, Berry and Lavender.
The Pixel 10a has a starting price of Rs. 49,999 for the 256GB version.The handset features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, along with Gorilla Glass protection on the front, an aluminium chassis, and a plastic rear panel.
The aluminium in the housing is 100% recycled content and the back cover is made with at least 81% recycled plastic acoording to the phone's official page.
The device has a suite of software-driven tools, such as Camera Coach, Gemini Live, Nano Banana and Circle to Search. Under the hood, runs on the Tensor G4 processor, the same chipset found in the Pixel 9a.
Display specifications are unchanged, with a 6.3-inch screen offering a 120Hz refresh rate alongside HDR support.
Connectivity sees a modest upgrade, with support for Bluetooth 6 replacing the older Bluetooth 5.3 standard. The phone weighs 6.52 ounces, marking a slight reduction compared with its predecessor.
The Pixel 10a measures 6.06 x 2.87 x 0.35 inches, making it marginally more compact than the Pixel 9a, which stands at 6.09 x 2.89 x 0.35 inches. Charging sees a boost, with support for 45 W wired fast charging.
The handset has a 5,100mAh battery and features a 48 MP main camera paired with a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor. A 13 MP front-facing camera is also present. It supports dual-SIM functionality.
On the security front, the phone carries Google's Titan M2 chip. It has optical image stabilisation for the wide-angle camera, and a selfie shooter with an f/3.1 aperture. The Pixel 10a offers 5G connectivity, wireless charging, a USB Type-C port, face unlock, and a battery rated for around 1,000 charge cycles.
The device retails with a one-year warranty.
