Hours after Apple unveiled its March 4 event, Nothing CEO Carl Pei fired back on X with a bold reply. True to the brand's punk aesthetic, the company overlaid “Nothing 5 March” in spray-paint style directly across Apple's official event invitation graphic, cheekily announcing its own launch the very next day.

Nothing will introduce its Phone 4a series to the global market, with the lineup featuring the standard Phone 4a and the more advanced Phone 4a Pro models positioned in the mid-range segment. The company has recently ramped up promotion through a series of teasers shared on X, including the latest dig on Apple. Nothing's headphones are also expected alongside the Phone 4a series.

In another post, Nothing highlighted two vibrant colour choices by displaying images of medicine pills in blue and pink tones, strongly suggesting these will be among the available shades for the upcoming devices.

Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro Launch Date, Specs, Features, Prices (Expected)

Recent reports and leaks point to a possible launch of the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro on March 5, which aligns with Nothing's pattern of spring releases for its (a)-series phones. The company has already announced it will not launch a traditional flagship model, instead enhancing the mid-range lineup to deliver a more premium experience.

The recent appearance of the Phone 4a Pro on Geekbench was with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. This chipset includes a prime core clocked up to 2.71GHz, three performance cores at 2.4GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. The listing showed a configuration with 12GB of RAM and Android 16 running out of the box. In AI performance tests, the device reportedly achieved scores of 707 in single precision, 1,077 in half precision, and 1,265 in the quantised benchmark.

Other expectations in the Phone 4a series include minor design refinements, along with a modest increase in battery capacity — potentially around 5,100mAh on the Pro variant. Storage upgrades such as UFS 3.1 are also rumoured.

Leaks further suggest the Nothing Phone 4a's price could start around $475, with the Phone 4a Pro reaching up to $540.
