Mobile World Congress

The Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona officially opens on March 2 and runs until March 5, but a wave of product announcements has already begun. Various tech majors, including Xiaomi, Lenovo, Honor, and Motorola, have shared early previews of their latest devices showcased at MWC 2026.

Xiaomi 17 And Xiaomi 17 Ultra

Xiaomi unveiled its flagship Xiaomi 17 series, comprising the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra, both equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The Ultra boasts a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO Amoled display, while the standard model features a compact 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED panel. The Xiaomi 17 offers a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto lens. The Ultra version upgrades the telephoto to a 200MP periscope camera for enhanced zoom capabilities.

Lenovo Legion Go Fold

Lenovo presented the Legion Go Fold, a conceptual foldable gaming handheld with a screen that expands to 11.6 inches when unfolded or reduces to 7.7 inches when folded. It includes detachable controllers and multiple mounting points, allowing shifts between landscape and portrait orientations. The gamepads can be joined into a single controller, and the device supports kickstand mode via its folio cover.

Honor Magic V6

Honor unveiled the Magic V6, its latest slim flagship foldable, featuring a 6.52-inch cover and a 7.95-inch main display. It comes powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 — the first foldable to house the chipset. The triple rear camera setup comprises a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide. Both the inner and outer screens include 20MP front cameras.

Honor Robot Phone

Honor also introduced the innovative Robot Phone, which merges embodied AI with advanced robotic motion and high-end cinematic imaging. Centred on a 200MP sensor paired with a stabilised gimbal camera, the device can detect sounds, track movement, and maintain environmental awareness. It enables all-angle AI video calls with motion-following capabilities, expresses emotions through nods, head shakes, and other gestures, and can even synchronise movements to music rhythms.

Motorola Razr Fold

Motorola revealed its first book-style foldable, the Razr Fold. The company highlights its camera array, which includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 primary sensor, 50MP periscope telephoto, 50MP ultrawide, a 20MP external front camera, and a 32MP inner camera. It offers an 8.1-inch internal display and a 6.6-inch cover screen, with thicknesses of 4.6 mm when open and 9.9 mm when closed. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and includes a 6,000mAh battery.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

Motorola also announced the Edge 70 Fusion, which sports a quad-curved design and a slim, lightweight build. It introduces the 50MP Sony Lytia 710 as its main rear sensor, alongside a 13MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera. Driven by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, it has a 6.8-inch Amoled display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness.
