The iQOO 15 Ultra, which is scheduled for launch in China next month, has officially appeared on AnTuTu benchmarks with a record-breaking score. It is being positioned as a gaming-focused companion to the iQOO 15, which was introduced in October last year.
Pre-orders for the model are already open in China. The company has also shared early details of the upcoming flagship through teasers and official confirmations, with a major emphasis on its sustained gaming capability.
iQOO 15 Ultra: Here's What AnTuTu Listing Suggests
In the latest development, the 15 Ultra appeared on official AnTuTu listing benchmarks that was shared by iQOO Product Director Galant V on Weibo. An AnTuTu score measures a smartphone's overall hardware performance.
In an impressive move, the handset recorded a total score of 4,518,403 points, making it the highest score achieved on the benchmarking platform. The score includes 1,322,001 in CPU, 1,594,848 in GPU, 593,523 in memory, and 1,008,031 in UX.
Among these, the memory score remains the only one that does not top the chart, according to GSMArena.
iQOO 15 Ultra: Key Specifications
The teaser released by iQOO mentions a gaming-oriented aesthetic, that includes a circular rear camera module encircled by a ring, orange accents on the device. The device also comes with an active cooling fan designed to strengthen its gaming capabilities. It is placed towards the lower section of the handset.
The fan will not only dissipate heat effectively, but will help gamers in maintaining stable frame rates and performance during extended gaming. The company is said to be providing a dedicated five-year protection plan for the cooling fan.
As per recent leaks, including the edited post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station (reported via Gizmochina), iQOO 15 Ultra will be made available with a battery of 7,000mAh or larger and support for wireless charging.
Earlier, the device appeared on China's 3C certification platform that confirmed 100W wired charging support for the device. However, the tipster claimed that the charging speeds for the upcoming smartphone could be upgraded to 200W later.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15 Ultra is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, mirroring the standard iQOO 15 device.
Besides this, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to have a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It will come with IP68 rating for dust and water protection. On the back side, customers can expect a 50MP periscope camera.
iQOO 15 Ultra: Release Date
The smartphone remains available for pre-orders in China. Recently, a Weibo post from the company's product manager highlighted that the device can come out before the Spring Festival. Since the festival kickstarts on Feb. 17, customers can expect iQOO 15 Ultra to come out before that.
