The iQOO 15 Ultra is set for a February 2026 launch in China, with the device positioned as a gaming-focused companion to the standard iQOO 15, which debuted in October 2025. The smartphone is expected to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It will focus on gaming enhancements, particularly an integrated active cooling fan to support prolonged high-performance gaming sessions.

iQOO 15 Ultra Launch Timeline, Gaming Focus Confirmed

The iQOO 15 Ultra is now available for pre-orders in China, with an official Weibo post from the company's product manager confirming a release before the Spring Festival. The festival begins Feb. 17, so the iQOO 15 Ultra will likely launch in early February.

The teaser highlights a gaming-oriented aesthetic, including a circular rear camera module encircled by a ring, orange accents on the phone, and a visible active cooling fan positioned towards the lower section of the device. This fan is designed to dissipate heat effectively and maintain stable frame rates and performance during extended gaming, with iQOO reported to provide a dedicated five-year protection plan for the cooling fan.

iQOO 15 Ultra Specs And Features Tipped

Recent leaks, including an edited Weibo post from notable tipster Digital Chat Station (reported via Gizmochina), indicate that the iQOO 15 Ultra will launch with a battery of 7,000mAh or larger, plus support for wireless charging.

The device also appeared on China's 3C certification platform, confirming 100W wired charging support. However, the tipster suggests that charging speeds could potentially be upgraded to 200W later — a level last seen on the iQOO 11 Pro. The 11 Pro had a smaller 4,700mAh battery alongside 200W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Under the hood, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to get Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset — the same as the standard iQOO 15. The device is also anticipated to come with a 50MP periscope camera, 6.85-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and IP68 dust and water protection.
