GTA 6 launch is imminent, at least that is what Rockstar's latest move has fans thinking. Excitement has skyrocketed when it was found out that Rockstar Games has quietly launched its official Discord server. There are many channels available on it, but one that is specifically generating all the buzz is the one reserved for Grand Theft Auto 6 that has been dubbed as 'grand-theft-auto-vi'. But, of course, this is one of the most crowded servers already with thousands of members.
Interestingly, it’s a bit odd that Rockstar has not officially announced the launch of the Discord server yet. The news, however, was leaked from familiar Grand Theft Auto community names. Fans have wasted no time to join the server, although no official statement was posted.

Joining is easy, but people must enter details like date of birth. There’s also a Server Guide channel with all the information a newcomer needs to get started.

The guide further says that this server will be a hub for Rockstar's latest news, announcements, and fan discussions. Various games are covered on different channels but GTA 6 section naturally catches the most attention.
Since December 2023 when it dropped its first trailer, players have been waiting for more details about the GTA 6 game.
What This Means For GTA 6 News
Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, confirmed in an earnings call held on Feb 6 that they plan to release GTA 6 sometime during the Fall 2025 period. With that timeline on the horizon, fans are hoping for more updates soon.
The server is live right now and is growing quickly. At the time of writing, the number of members is more than 23,000, which has made it a necessity for GTA fans to visit that space.
Among the most interesting, if disappointing news is about the GTA 6 price. It is being reported that not $70, the price of the upcoming game may hit the $100-mark.
The good news is that the PC version of GTA 6 may be rolled out within months of the official launch for consoles.
