Apple is set to host a massive event on March 4. Known as the “special Apple experience”, the event may see a host of new launches. While Apple has not confirmed any speculation about the event, the Cupertino-based tech giant could reportedly launch five new products, including a new low-cost MacBook.
The Bloomberg Power On newsletter by Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is planning a three-day flurry event - with unveilings on Monday (March 2), Tuesday (March 3) and Wednesday (March 4). Apple will reportedly use the final day to offer hands-on impressions of its new products.
Apple's Potential New Products
Mark Gurman said that Apple's new launches could span chips, hardware and software. A new low-cost MacBook is also on the cards.
Worth pointing out the three colors from the invite are light green, blue and yellow -- which just so happen to be the colors Apple has tested the low-cost MacBook with, as I wrote yesterday. Coincidence? We shall see. https://t.co/1FFVkfw9JZ pic.twitter.com/ssKDDzdJsw

The other potential launches include the iPhone 17e, an entry-level iPad with the A18 processor, iPad Air with an M4 chip, upgraded MacBook Pro models and a new MacBook Air - all due to arrive sometime in spring 2026. The iPhone 17e is a certainty for the March launch, if it doesn't debut earlier.
Two other Mac-related products may be introduced in the first half of 2026: a new Apple Studio Display and refreshed Mac Studio desktops. The Studio Displays are reportedly ready to ship, and the Mac Studios are not far behind. However, Gurman said that launching both of these items on March 4 may be an “overkill.”
Gurman also shared that sources at multiple retail stores told him about inventory of the following products drying up, indicating that they could soon be replaced: the iPhone 16e, the 14-inch and 16-inch M4 Pro, the iPad Air, M4 Max MacBook Pros and the 13-inch and 15-inch M4 MacBook Airs. Stores are also running low on several different Apple Watch bands.
What Is Apple's Event About?
The American tech giant has dropped hints about the gathering, calling it an“experience,” not an “event.” While Apple usually announces a livestream on its website for full product keynotes, this hasn't happened for the March 4 experience, meaning a single big keynote address is unlikely.
The tech giant is holding separate gatherings for the press in London and Shanghai, 9to5Mac said, citing social media reports. According to the outlet, Apple may release the first beta of iOS 26.4 soon, with Google Gemini powering at least some of the new Siri features.
