Five-time champions Chennai Super Kings will take on three-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk in Chennai tonight. The two former champions haven't had a great run in the league this season and find themselves at the wrong end of the IPL points table.

KKR are yet to taste success this season and are 10th in the league. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side have earned just one point and it came thanks to the rain-abandoned game at the Eden Gardens. The two teams are desperate to get some winning momentum into their season before it gets too late.

As Chennai and Kolkata gear up to renew their rivalry, here is a look Chennai's weather forecast for the day.

According to India Meteorological Department, Chennai is going to see partly cloudy sky today. The night temperature is expected to be around 27°C. The probability of precipitation, according to Accuweather, is 0%.

Sunrisers Hyderabad hand Rajasthan Royals First Defeat Of The Season

On Monday, Sunrisers Hyderabad became the first team to defeat Rajasthan Royals in this year's IPL.

Batting first, SRH mounted a huge score of 216/6 on the back of Ishan Kishan's 91 off 40 balls and Heinrich Klaasen's cameo as he notched 40 runs in 26 deliveries. RR stumbled in the chase as their batting was completely dismantled by two debutant pacers Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain.

Hinge kick-started RR's downfall right in the first over as he picked the wickets of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius to become the first player claim three wickets in the very-first over of IPL career. Hinge later picked the the wicket of RR captain Riyan Parag to round-off his spell with the figures of 4/34

Hinge found strong support in fellow debutant Sakib Hussain, who played a crucial role by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal, Donovan Ferreira, Jofra Archer, and Ravi Bishnoi, finishing with impressive figures of 4/24.
