Birla Corp has 10 plants at seven locations, with a total capacity of 15.5 million tonnes per annum.
The company's capacity is primarily based in the central region (8.5 mtpa - 55%) and the Northern region (4 mtpa - 26%) whereas balance 16% (2.4 mtpa) and 4% (0.6 mtpa) of installed capacity is in the Eastern and Western regions, respectively.
