Q3 FY25 Earnings: A host of listed companies are set to declare their financial results for the quarter that ended Dec. 31, 2024, on Thursday, Jan. 16. As per the BSE calendar, a total of 36 companies are expected to announce their Q3 results on Jan. 16.

Ahead of the Q3 results, here’s a quick recap of how some of these companies performed in the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal.

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd. reported a 2.8% year-on-year fall in net profit, reaching Rs 19,323 crore for the quarter ending Sept. 2024, against Rs 19,878 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the company’s gross revenue for the period rose 0.8% YoY to Rs 2.58 lakh crore, against Rs 2.55 lakh crore in FY24.

Reliance Industries Q2 FY25 Highlights (Consolidated, YoY)

• Net profit fell 2.8% at Rs 19,323 vs Rs 19,878 crore

• Revenue up 0.8% at Rs 2.58 lakh crore vs Rs 2.55 lakh crore

• Ebitda dipped 2% to Rs 43,934 crore vs Rs 44,809 crore

• Ebitda margin at 17% vs 17.5%

Infosys' Q2 results showed a 5.1% increase in revenue compared to the previous year, reaching Rs 40,986 crore for the quarter ending September, as compared to Rs 38,994 crore in Q2 FY24. Net profit grew by 4.8% YoY, totalling Rs 6,516 crore as compared to Rs 6,215 crore in the same quarter last year.

Infosys Q2 FY25 Highlights (Consolidated, YoY)

• Net profit up 4.8% at Rs 6,516 crore vs Rs 6,215 crore

• Revenue increased 5.1% to Rs 40,986 crore vs Rs 38,994 crore

• Operating profit soared 4.5% to Rs 8,649 crore vs Rs 8,274 crore

• Margin at 21.1% vs 21.2%

LTIMindtree’s consolidated profit after taxes (PAT) rose 7.7% year-on-year in the second quarter of the current fiscal, reaching Rs 1,251.60 crore, compared to Rs 1,162.30 crore in Q2 FY24. The company’s revenue for the period increased by 5.9% YoY, at Rs 9,432.90 crore, up from Rs 8,905.4 crore in the second quarter of the previous fiscal.

LTIMindtree Q2 FY25 Highlights

• Net profit increased 7.7% at Rs 1,251.60 crore vs Rs 1,162.30 crore

• Revenue up 5.9% at Rs 9,432.90 crore vs Rs 8,905.40 crore

• Ebit rose 2.5% YoY at Rs 1,458.2 crore vs Rs 1,423.1

• Ebit margin at 15.5% vs 16%

LTTS Q3 Results: L&T Technology Services Ltd. reported a revenue of Rs 2,653 crore, a 9.5% rise year-on-year from Rs 2,421.8 crore, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Wednesday. The bottom line logged by the company was Rs 319.50 crore, 5.13% up from Rs 336.80 crore recorded in Q3 FY24.

HDFC Life Insurance Q3 Results: HDFC Life Insurance Co. reported a net premium income of Rs 16,771 crore, which was a 10% increase from Rs 15,235 crore logged in the same period last year. The net profit was up 13.7% at Rs 415 crore in Q3, as compared to Rs 365 crore in Q3 FY24.
