GAIL (India) Ltd.'s net profit declined in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 due to weak operational performance.
Net profit for India's largest natural gas distributor fell 22.5% to Rs 2,474 crore in the January-March quarter, as compared with Rs 3,193 crore last quarter, according to the exchange filing issued on Thursday.

Revenue fell 5.6% to Rs 32,756 crore versus Rs 34,698 crore.
Ebitda fell 8.6% to Rs 3,848 crore versus Rs 4,208 crore.
Ebitda margin narrows to 11.7% versus 12.1%.
Net profit down 22.5% to Rs 2,474 crore versus Rs 3,193 crore.
Shares of GAIL fell 3.26% on the BSE, as compared with a 0.83% rise in the benchmark Sensex on Thursday.
