Container Corp Q3 Results: Profit Up 11%, Dividend Of Rs 4.25 Per Share

Container Corp.'s net profit surged 11% to Rs 366.7 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year as compared to Rs 330.7 crore for the same period last year.
The company's revenue fell 0.1% to Rs 2,208.3 crore in the December quarter from Rs 2,210.6 crore in the year-ago period.
The logistics services provider's earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and aromatisation slipped to Rs 465 crore, a 10.1% fall for the October–December quarter as against Rs 517 crore for the same quarter of the corresponding year.
Its margin narrowed to 21.1% for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, as compared to 23.4% for the same period last year.

Container Corp. declared an interim dividend of Rs 4.25 per share at a face value of Rs 5 each, totalling approximately Rs 259 crore. The record date for the dividend is fixed as Feb. 6, 2025, and the same will be dispatched to the shareholders on Feb. 18.
Shares of Container Corp. closed 1.8% higher at Rs 756.25 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.37% rise in the benchmark Nifty 50. The stock has fallen 12.62% in the last 12 months.
Out of the 22 analysts tracking the company, 13 maintain a 'buy' rating on the stock, four recommend 'hold' and five suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential downside of 22.7%.
