(Bloomberg) -- New Jersey reported an additional 402 deaths from the new coronavirus, for a total of 6,442.
Some of those fatalities could have happened over the weekend and were just reported on Monday, Governor Phil Murphy said. The state reported much lower one-day totals on Sunday and Monday.
