The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday released the NEET (UG) 2025 provisional answer key. This initial version of the answer sheet released by the exam authority is temporary and can be challenged by the candidates.

The NTA also released the OMR sheet and recorded responses, so that the candidates can check the results and review them accordingly. To do this, they will need to log in to the official website:  https://neet.nta.nic.in.

In case of any discrepancies, the candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer key, OMR sheet, and responses until June 5 till 11:50 PM via https://neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key online by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question, within the period mentioned in the NTA notice.

After reviewing the challenges, the NTA will subsequently release the final answer key.

This year, close to 23 lakh students signed up for the NEET exam, aiming for admission into medical programs at government and private universities throughout India. The exams were conducted on May 4.  The students can opt for admission into undergraduate medical courses based on their NEET-UG results.

Following last year’s major controversy over alleged exam leaks and cheating in NEET-UG 2024, NTA held the NEET 2025 exam in a single shift on May 4. The exams were held from 2 to 5 p.m. across 5,453 centres in over 500 cities.
