Breaking: Trump Threatens Russia With Tariffs Over Ukraine; Shubhanshu Shukla Begins Journey Back To Earth

US President Donald Trump said the US would impose 100% “secondary” tariffs on Russia if there’s no deal in 50 days, reported Bloomberg.

• DGCA in its notification on Monday has made inspections for aircraft/engines/components registered in India a mandate.

• All airline operators of affected aircraft advised to complete inspection by July 21.

• Inspection with respect to disengagement of fuel control switch locking feature.

• Inspection for Boeing company’s 737, 757, 767, 787 model airplanes.

SpaceX has confirmed that the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, carrying Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and the crew, has successfully undocked from the International Space Station.

Indian exports to the US will become more competitive following imposition of higher tariffs by the Trump administration on countries, including China, Canada, and Mexico, NITI Aayog said in a report on Monday. The Aayog in its third edition of 'Trade Watch Quarterly' said there will be significant opportunities for India in the US markets both in terms of the number of products and volume of the US market.

India's retail inflation fell further in June, coming in at the lowest since January 2019, led by a fall in prices of several food items.

The consumer price index-based inflation moderated to 2.1%, from 2.82% in May, according to data from the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation on Monday.
