The Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of the Nifty performance in India, edged slightly higher to 8,665.
Here are the stocks to watch in today's session:
September Auto Sales:
- Tata Motors: Total sales grow 8 percent while exports rise 29 percent.
- Escorts: Domestic sales grow 37.4 percent while exports rise 103.3 percent.
- Mahindra & Mahindra: Total sales up 8 percent, exports rise 14 percent.
- SML Isuzu: Total sales down 5.3 percent.
- Ashok Leyland: Total sales down 18 percent while LCV sales grow 17 percent. Medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales fall 26 percent.
- Atul Auto: Total sales up 8.46 percent.
- Maruti Suzuki: Sales up 31.1 percent to 1,49,143 units.
- Eicher Motors: Sales in September grow 30 percent to 57,842 motorcycles.
- Volvo-Eicher Commercial Vehicles: September sales grow 14 percent to 4,843 units.
- Future Lifestyle Fashions: Plans to raise Rs 250 crore in its subsidiary Lee Cooper through an issue of compulsorily convertible preference shares. Signed a term sheet with Barclays Bank PLC for the same.
- EMCO: Enters into an agreement to sell its wind mill business unit on a slump sale basis.
- Eurotex Industries and Exports: Approves issue of 6% non-cumulative, non-convertible preference shares for a period of 10 years with a call option to the tune of Rs 5 crore on private placement basis to PBM Polytex Ltd.
- Reliance Infrastructure: Increases stake from 49 percent to 100 percent in SU Toll Road Private Limited for Rs 11.5 per share and from 22.82 percent to 51 percent in BSES Yamuna Power Limited for Rs 10 per share and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited for Rs 10 per share.
- SBI: Government extends chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya's term by one-year.
- Mahindra Holidays and Resorts: To acquire 12 percent stake in Nreach Online Services Private Ltd. for Rs 3 crore.
- Eon Electric: Offeres 8.45 lakh convertible equity warrants to VPM Electrical Private Ltd., promoter of the company, for Rs 66.5 per warrant.
- RBL Bank: Acquires 9. stake in Utkarsh Micro Finance Ltd.
- Titan: Company says consumer sentiment remains ‘patchy and unpredictable' while ‘customer fatigue' is setting in.
- Sun Pharma: To announce late-breaking results for investigational IL-23p19 inhibitor, Tildrakizumab.
- Kotak Mahindra Bank: Acquires ‘BSS Microfinance Pvt. Ltd., a Non-Banking Finance Company, classified as a NBFC-MFI, for an aggregate all-cash consideration of Rs. 139.2 crore.
- Tata Communications: LIC reduces stake in company from 5.262 percent to 3.224 percent.
- IRB Infra: Receives Letter of Award from NHAI for the project of six-laning of Kishangarh-Udaipur-Ahmedabad section at a projected cost of Rs 2,400 crore.
- IIFL Holdings: Company to demerge 5Paisa Digital Undertaking from IIFL Holdings and to merge the same with 5Paisa Capital Ltd. Shareholders of IIFL will get one share of 5Paisa Capital for every 25 shares of IIFL.
- Fortis Healthcare: Wholly owned subsidiary company i.e. Fortis Hospitals Ltd. agrees to accept a term loan of Rs. 225 Crores from Yes Bank.
- HDFC: To raise Rs 525 crores via NCDs. Issue opens on October 4, 2016.
