The shares of Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC) and REC Ltd. rose nearly 5% on Sunday after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday announced a structuring of both companies.
The announcement was made during Finance Minister's Budget 20206 speech in Lok Sabha, her ninth consecutive Budget. The details for the restructuring are yet to be released.
PFC shares rose as much as 5.83% to Rs 401.45 apiece, while REC rose as much as 4.37% to Rs 380 per share on Sunday.
