Wholesale volumes for June 2022 stood robust across segments, except for the two-wheeler segment, which continued to report a slower pick up in its sales growth (on the lower base of the last year).
Domestic sales volume across passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, two-wheeler, three-wheeler increased YoY by 26%, 85%, 21% (on low base) and 55% respectively.
On a month-on-month basis PV, CV, two-wheeler, three-wheeler growth stood at 7%, 5%, 4%, down 10% respectively. While the sales volume growth indicates a pick-up in the demand for the sector, the demand momentum will be the key monitorable moving forward.
