In a major treat for Indian fans, PVR Inox has announced on Thursday that it will bring BTS's much-awaited ‘Arirang' World Tour to cinema screens across over 20 cities in India, combining both live screenings and re-broadcasts.

The event is set to begin with a live screening of the Goyang concert on April 11, followed by the Tokyo show on April 18, along with additional rebroadcast screenings. This format is designed to make the concert accessible to more viewers, especially those who may miss the live telecast.

The screenings will reach a wide audience, covering over 25 cities, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Dehradun, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Ranchi, Indore, Kolkata, Jaipur, Udaipur, Raipur, Patna, and Guwahati. The large rollout highlights the growing demand for international music content in India.

Aamer Bijli, who leads Innovation, Film Marketing and Digital Programming at PVR INOX, said the initiative reflects how cinema is evolving into a more experience-driven space, where audiences want immersive and collective viewing moments beyond traditional films.

He added that concert screenings are gaining strong traction, particularly among Gen Z and urban viewers, with fan communities driving demand through group bookings and shared celebrations of their favourite artists.

The Arirang World Tour itself is known for its grand production, high-energy choreography, and a setlist featuring some of BTS's biggest global hits. The theatrical screenings aim to recreate the immersive stadium experience through high-quality visuals and surround sound.

With excitement already building among fans, the BTS Arirang World Tour screenings are expected to turn into a large-scale celebration across Indian theatres. Ticket sales and the complete screening schedule are expected to be revealed shortly, with high demand anticipated across all cities hosting the event.
