A tragic road accident near Hyderabad has brought the shooting of Prabhas' film Fauzi to a temporary standstill. One crew member lost their life in the accident, while five others were injured during their journey to the film set.
The accident reportedly happened near Abdullapurmet as crew members were travelling towards Ramoji Film City, where the film's current schedule was underway. According to reports, the vehicle lost control on the road and crashed into divider blocks along the highway. The stretch is known for heavy morning traffic, especially with commercial and transport vehicles moving through the area.
Five Injured, Shoot Put On Hold
Soon after the crash, the injured crew members were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The accident is believed to have taken place near the Toopranpet Bridge area under Choutuppal police jurisdiction.
Following the incident, filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi and the production team at Mythri Movie Makers decided to temporarily stop filming. The makers are yet to release an official statement on the tragedy.
‘Fauzi' Was Close To Wrap-Up
The unfortunate incident comes at a crucial stage for the movie, as Fauzi was reportedly nearing the end of production. Industry reports suggest that nearly 80 per cent of the shoot has already been completed, with only a few important action sequences involving Prabhas remaining.

The cast also includes Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher. While the makers are reportedly eyeing a Dussehra release this year, an official release date is still awaited.
