Actor Sonal Chauhan has confirmed she is safe in Dubai after travel disruptions left her stranded in the Gulf city due to the ongoing tensions in West Asia. A day after appealing for help to return to India, the Jannat actor shared a fresh update on Instagram, urging her followers not to worry and thanking them for their concern.

Sonal wrote on her Instagram Stories, “To everyone messaging me and checking up on me — Thank you and I'm sorry for not being able to reply. Your concern really means a lot. I am safe and I assure you, the authorities are doing their best to keep everyone safe.”
She added, “There's nothing to panic about. Surely, Dubai is the safest place in the world. @modgovae is in protecting and safeguarding everyone. Things are totally under control. And I request everyone to refrain from spreading panic. Praying for everyone's safety.”
Her reassurance came a day after she revealed she was unable to return to India due to cancelled flights and sought help from the government through social media. Tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of External Affairs, she sought assistance for a safe return home. Her post read, “Hon'ble PM @narendramodi ji I am currently stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing crisis. Flights have been cancelled and there is no clear way to return to India. I'm seeking the government's guidance and support to help me get back home safely. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance from the Government and guidance for a safe return @meaindia @india_in_dubai.”
The disruption in air travel follows a sharp escalation in tensions in the Middle East after a joint military strike by the United States and Israel on Iran. The operation led to the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior military figures, triggering a series of retaliatory attacks by Iran on US-linked targets across the region. Missile and drone strikes were reported in multiple locations, including areas that host American military bases.

Explosions and emergency alerts were reported in major cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, Manama and Amman, prompting temporary airspace closures and forcing several airlines to cancel or divert flights. The developments have left many international travellers, including Indians, stranded.
Despite the tense regional situation, Sonal's latest update has brought relief to her fans. She emphasised that local authorities were actively working to ensure safety and that normalcy was being maintained.
