Bengaluru: Bengaluru City Traffic Police have announced traffic arrangements ahead of the 19th edition of IPL cricket matches scheduled to be held on March 28 and April 5 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Where Parking Is Not Allowed ?
According to the official release from the BTP, parking has been prohibited on multiple roads around the stadium area.
On Queens Road, vehicles cannot be parked on both sides from Balekundri Circle to Queens Circle and from Queens Circle to CTO Junction.
On MG Road, parking is not allowed from Anil Kumble Circle to Queens Circle and from Queens Road to Anil Kumble Junction on both sides.
Parking is also restricted on the link road connecting MG Road to Cubbon Road, Raj Bhavan Road, T. Chowdaiah Road, Race Course Road, and on both sides of Central Street Road.
On Cubbon Road, parking is not allowed on both sides from CTO Circle to Dickenson Road Junction. Further, from Kamaraj Road Junction to Dickenson Road Junction, only BMTC buses are allowed to park, and all other vehicles are restricted.

St. Mark's Road will have no parking from Cash Pharmacy Junction to Anil Kumble Circle. On Museum Road, parking is prohibited from MG Road to St. Mark's Road and up to Ashirvadam Circle.
On Kasturba Road, parking is not allowed from Queens Circle to Hudson Circle. Similarly, on Mallya Hospital Road, restrictions are in place from Siddalingaiah Circle to RRM R Circle.
Inside Cubbon Park, parking is strictly prohibited on King Road, in front of the Press Club, near Bal Bhavan, and on Fountain Road.

Lavelle Road will have no parking from Queens Circle to Vittal Mallya Road Junction. On Vittal Mallya Road, parking is restricted from Siddalingaiah Circle to Bishop Cotton Girls' School on St. Mark's Road.

Designated Parking Locations
Parking facilities will be available from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at selected locations.
These include St. Joseph's Indian High School Ground near Siddalingaiah Circle, St. Joseph's European School Ground on Museum Road, Freedom Park multi-level car parking, Garuda Mall parking area, the first floor of Shivajinagar Bus Stand, and UB City parking space.
Entry And Exit Arrangements At The Stadium
For entry into the stadium, Gates E-1 to E-3 and Gates E-18, E-19, E-22, and E-23 are located on Cubbon Road.
Gates E-11 to E-17 are on the link road and can be accessed from Anil Kumble Circle and BRV Circle.

Entry is also permitted through Gates E-05 and E-08 on Queens Road. Exit from the stadium will be allowed only through Gates E-09 and E-9A.
Gate E-10 on Queens Road has been reserved for players, support staff, stadium authorities, and VIPs.
Pick-up And Drop Arrangements
Pick-up and drop-off points have been arranged for cab services such as Ola, Uber, and auto-rickshaws.
These include Manikshaw Parade Ground and BRV Ground. One of the pick-up points is near Gate No-06, while drop facilities are available near Gate No-03. Coordinates for these locations have also been specified in the advisory.
The police have urged public to use public transport, including BMTC buses and metro services, to reduce congestion and ensure smoother traffic movement during match days.
