In response to the intensifying heatwave, authorities in Gautam Buddha Nagar have revised the operating hours for all schools across all boards in the district.

According to the official mandate, the new schedule has been implemented starting today, ensuring that students are not exposed to the harshest afternoon sun as temperatures continue to climb across the district.

Authorities stated that the decision was prioritised to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of students. The measure serves as a critical response to the surging temperatures and persistent heatwave conditions currently impacting Noida, Greater Noida, and the broader Delhi-NCR region.
Health experts warn that prolonged exposure to the current heat levels can lead to dehydration and heat exhaustion, making the shift to an earlier schedule a necessary precaution for student well-being during school hours.
