European Stocks Hobble Into Bull Market Long After Peers: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Even though European stocks kicked off 2017 by entering a bull market, they took longer than others to get there. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index closed 20 percent above its February 2016 low on Tuesday, a little less than a year since it tumbled into bear territory. By contrast, the U.K.'s FTSE 100 Index started a bull run five months following its trough, while the MSCI All-Country World Index took seven months.
