New Delhi: Air-conditioner maker Blue Star has reported a net profit of Rs 51.4 crore for the first quarter ended June 2016.
The figure was Rs 72.43 crore in April-June a year ago, Blue Star said in a BSE filing.
Consolidated net sales stood at Rs 1,212.8 crore during the quarter under review, up from Rs 1,014 crore in the same period a year before.
The company said: "Due to the merger of Blue Star Infotech and its subsidiary, Blue Star Infotech Business Intelligence & Analytics Private with Blue Star as well as re-organisation of Blue Star and its wholly-owned subsidiaries in FY16... Q1 FY17 performance is not directly comparable with the previous year's numbers."
The stock on Monday settled at Rs 485.70 on BSE, down 0.22 per cent.
