(Bloomberg) -- A suicide bombing in Somalia's capital left at least eight people dead and nine others injured, the head of Mogadishu's ambulance service said.
The attack targeted a United Nations convoy traveling near an air force base in the city, said Osman Farah, a Somali police officer.
Al-Shabaab, an Islamist-insurgent group linked to Al-Qaeda, claimed the responsibility for the attack, according to Radio Andalus, a broadcaster that backs the militant group.
