Chennai: Royal Enfield, an Eicher Motors Group company, recorded a 42 per cent rise in its total sales at 48,197 units last month.
The niche bike manufacturer sold 33,918 units in April 2015, a company statement said.
Domestic sales in April 2016 grew 42 per cent to 47,037 units, from 33,118 units sold in the corresponding period a year ago.
On the exports front, the company witnessed a 45 per cent increase to 1,160 units last month as compared with 800 units in April 2015.
