Puente CEO Ilac Departs Brokerage Six Months After Assuming Post

None

(Bloomberg) -- Emilio Ilac, the chief executive officer of Buenos Aires-based brokerage Puente, and the head of sales and trading Brian Joseph have left the company.

The departures occurred this week, according to a company official, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private. The official declined to comment on the reason for the departures.

Ilac was named to the post March 16 as former CEO Federico Tomasevich was made global chairman. The roles were separated in anticipation of the company's initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, which Tomasevich said last month may take place at the end of 2017.

Ilac had worked at Puente since 2009, while Joseph joined the brokerage in 2002, according to LinkedIn profiles and e-mails announcing their departures that were obtained by Bloomberg. They didn't immediately reply to e-mailed requests for comment.
