Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler maker will report its June quarter numbers today. The company is likely to report 15 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) jump in its net profit to Rs 635 crore for the first quarter of FY15.
While reporting the numbers for the last quarter, its management has guided for an industry growth of 10-11 per cent in FY15. Analysts polled by NDTV have estimated its Q1 revenue to grow 15 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7,020 crore.
Total volume of Hero MotoCorp in first quarter has increased 10 per cent y-o-y to 17.15 lakh units.
Hero MotoCorp has initiated many cost cutting measure last quarter. Analysts believe its ebitda margin is likely to 14.5 per cent in the Q1 as against 14.4 per cent y-o-y on the back of these measures. Its margin adjusted for royalty amortization is expected t at 11.7 per cent.
As of 9.20 a.m. Hero MotoCorp shares traded 0.3 per cent lower at Rs 2,599.70 on Monday as against 0.02 per cent gain in Nifty.
