(Bloomberg) -- Finland's President Sauli Niinisto, 69, and his wife Jenni Haukio, 40, have welcomed a baby boy.
The child was born at a hospital in Helsinki just before 8 p.m. local time on Friday, the President's office said in a statement on its website. Niinisto was sworn in for his second term yesterday after winning elections by a landslide on Sunday.
Niinisto has two adult sons from a previous marriage. The baby is Haukio's first.
