New Delhi: Apollo Hospitals on Tuesday said Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY Mellon) has sold shares worth over Rs 23 crore in the group.
The shares were sold in the open market on March 27.
Apollo Hospitals in a BSE filing said BNY Mellon sold a total of 1,65,777 shares (or 0.12 per cent stake) of the group for a total of Rs 23,05,99,919 on the BSE and the NSE on March 27, 2015.
After the sale, BNY Mellon's stake in Apollo Hospitals Enterprises has come down to 3.13 per cent from the earlier 3.24 per cent, the filing added.
As of 3:22 p.m., shares in Apollo Hospitals were trading at Rs 1401.00 apiece on the BSE, down 0.73 per cent from the previous close.
