Batwara 1947 has begun its theatrical journey with bookings opening across the country. The film has started registering ticket sales in multiple regions as audiences gear up for its release.
According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, Batwara 1947 has collected Rs 24.37 lakh in gross bookings for its opening day across India. The film has sold 7,074 tickets across 2,554 shows in the Hindi 2D format. Including block seats, the total booking value has reached Rs 89.75 lakh.
State-Wise Advance Booking Performance
Based on Sacnilk data, Delhi is leading the booking collections with Rs 6.81 lakh, followed by Maharashtra (Rs 3.67 lakh) and Gujarat (Rs 3.05 lakh). Rajasthan has recorded Rs 2.65 lakh, while Uttar Pradesh has contributed Rs 2.31 lakh in advance sales.
In terms of occupancy, Uttarakhand is currently leading among major states with 10%, followed by Chhattisgarh at 9%. Telangana and Uttar Pradesh have registered 2% occupancy each, while Rajasthan stands at 3%.

Major Regions Report Mixed Trends
Sacnilk reports that among the key circuits, the National Capital Region (NCR) has emerged as the biggest contributor with Rs 6.81 lakh in gross bookings. Mumbai has collected Rs 2.59 lakh, Jaipur Rs 2.01 lakh, Lucknow Rs 1.03 lakh, while Hyderabad has registered Rs 34.22 thousand in advance sales.
Occupancy remains modest across most major centres, although Jaipur has reported 4% occupancy, while Hyderabad and Lucknow are at 2% each.
