Adani Group Eyes Energy Sector Opportunities In Bihar, Says Pranav Adani
Pranav Adani's remarks came after he announced at the Bihar Business Connect 2024 that Adani Group will be investing Rs 20,000 crore for an ultra-super critical thermal power plant in the state.

Adani Group is exploring opportunities in the energy sector in Bihar, said Pranav Adani, director of the conglomerate's flagship entity, Adani Enterprises Ltd.
"Given the current growth in Bihar, its future growth will be driven by energy. So, it's crucial to explore ways to increase the energy capacity," he said, while speaking to NDTV on the sidelines of Bihar Business Connect 2024 on Friday.
While addressing the event earlier in day, Pranav Adani announced that Adani Group will invest Rs 20,000 crore to set up an ultra-super critical thermal power plant in Bihar.
"Last time when I visited Bihar Business Connect, I had said that we would invest even more in Bihar," he said.
Pranav Adani highlighted the law and order situation, ease of doing business, and the strong support from government agencies and institutions as the most exciting part of investing in the state. "As Adani Group, we will try our best to invest in Bihar across the most sectors we cover," he said, adding that the conglomerate is committed to the state's growth.
"Last year, we announced the 10 million-tonne cement plant at Warisaliganj, and the foundation stone for the project was laid in July. We are planning its expansion and are even scouting for new locations," he said.
As of now, the Adani Group has projects worth Rs 5,000-7,000 crore underway in the state, Pranav Adani said. "We are happy to consider even larger investments, as and when the opportunity arises. Our investment in Bihar is set to increase manyfold in the months to come."
