US President Donald Trump on Monday said that the deal with Iran could be in five days or sooner after he claimed to have held 'very good and productive' talks with Tehran on ending the war.
Trump also claimed that Iran wants to make a deal badly, the US President told Fox News.
He said that recent talks between the two countries happened last night, led by top White House envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
Later speaking to media, Trump said that "Iran would like to make a deal, we would like a deal too."
He added that the person they are speaking with is not Iran's Supreme Leader and they want to see no nuclear bomb or weapon for Iran."
Just a few hours ago, Trump said that he held a good conversation with Iran regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East.
He also announced that he has instructed the department of war to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period.
However, Trump did not elaborate or provided details about the negotiations that had taken place. Iran too did not comment on Trump's claim.

Reacting to Iranian media comments, Trump said that he is not sure of what Iran's media is saying.
