Three private aircraft were damaged at the Ben Gurion Airport after debris from the interception of an Iranian ballistic missile fell within the airport premises earlier on Wednesday, The Times of Israel reported, citing airport authorities.

The report said that visuals reviewed by The Times of Israel show that one of the planes caught fire after being hit by fragments, while two others sustained minor damage. A spokesperson for the Israel Airports Authority confirmed the incident, stating that “three private aircraft were damaged this morning by interception debris.”

No injuries have been reported so far. Maariv Online shared an image on X showing damaged aircraft, claiming that three private planes were damaged at Ben Gurion Airport in recent days following falling debris from intercepted missiles.
