'True Force Behind You Has Always Been Your Mother': Gautam Adani To Son Jeet On His Wedding

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani told son Jeet on the occasion of his wedding that the true force behind him has been his mother Priti Adani.

Jeet, the younger son of Gautam Adani, married Diva Shah in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends in attendance on Friday. The wedding was a simple affair, with the usual religious rituals followed by a traditional Gujarati ceremony attended only by close relatives and friends.

"I must acknowledge that the true force behind you has always been your mother Priti Adani. As you step into this new chapter, know that every step that you have taken has been guided by her boundless love, prayers and sacrifices," Gautam Adani told his son.

"Your mother has been your pillar of strength, your guiding light and your anchor. She has stood by you, through every victory and every challenge. Always steady and always supportive," he added.

Gautam Adani announced a donation of Rs 10,000 crore, which would be channelled into various social causes, on occasion of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah's wedding.

Jeet and Diva had started their wedding celebrations with the pledge to donate Rs 10 lakh each to 500 specially-abled girls for their weddings every year. Named ‘Mangal Seva,’ the philanthropic initiative aims to help specially-abled girls start their married lives.

"What makes this occasion even more special is that Jeet and Diva have chosen to celebrate their union by embracing tradition and honouring a greater purpose," the Adani Group chairman.

Because this wedding is not just a moment of joy, but it will also mark the beginning of many initiative that will uplift the lives of countless underprivileged individuals, he further said.

"I pray that the love they share remains rooted in generosity, responsibility and the desire to create a positive change," he said.
