With just days left for the launch of Galaxy S26 Ultra, there has been a lot of chatter about what pricing will Samsung settle with and what trade-in offers are in store. The Korean tech major has already announced its pre-order deals on its reservation page, which is a slight dampener as compared to those offered in past years.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is slated for unveiling on Feb. 25, with leaks indicating that Samsung plans to maintain the same starting price in most markets as the prior S25 Ultra. Prices in certain regions may, however, see minor adjustments.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Price Expectations Around The World

Expected global starting prices for the 256GB variant of the S26 Ultra are:

  • U.S.: $1,199
  • U.K.: £1,249
  • India: Rs 1,39,900
  • Canada: CAD 1,699
  • Germany: EUR 1,499
  • France: EUR 1,499
  • China: RMB 9,699
  • Australia: AUD 2,099

Pricing similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra would provide some relief for buyers in many regions, though select markets in Europe, Asia, and elsewhere could experience slight upward adjustments due to factors like RAM/component costs.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Pre-Order Offers, Trade-In, And Free Storage Upgrade

Samsung typically provides early-bird offers for reservations on its flagship line. Past promotions included $50 in store credit for early sign-ups, but current offers point to a reduced amount of $30 this time.

Samsung's reservation page highlights potential savings of up to $900 (“additional savings”) through trade-ins, plus entry into a raffle for $5,000 in store credit. However, the “savings” have dropped compared to the previous generation's offers, which reached up to $1,250 in value. It remains to be seen what buyers will eventually get as trade-in value for the older devices. Ultra buyers can also expect freebies like Galaxy Buds with their purchase.

Reports also suggest Samsung may eliminate the popular free storage upgrade promotion seen last year, where buyers could get a higher-capacity model at the base model's price, likely due to elevated flash memory costs.
