Allu Arjun’s latest movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has become the fastest Indian movie to enter the Rs 1,000-crore collections club. The movie took only six days to reach the milestone and became the eighth Indian film to collect over Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. Aamir Khan's Dangal was the first film to achieve this milestone in 2016 and still is the highest-grossing film of all time. According to Sacnilk, the global box office collection of Dangal is Rs 2,070.3 crore.

According to data from Sacnilk, the Allu Arjun-starrer movie had collected Rs 687 crore at the Indian box office. Till 12:37 p.m. on Thursday, the film collected Rs 3.54 crore. 

On Wednesday, Pushpa 2 box office collections were pegged at Rs 42 crore, with Hindi language collections being Rs 30 crore and Telugu collections being Rs 9 crore.

Other than Dangal and Pushpa 2, films like Baahubali 2, RRR, Jawan and Pathaan are members of the exclusive Rs 1,000 crore club. Here is the full list of movies that have collected over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office.

  2. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017): Rs 1,788.06 crore.

  3. KGF Chapter 2 (2022): Rs 1,215 crore.

  4. RRR (2022): Rs 1,230 crore.

  5. Jawan (2023): Rs 1,160 crore.

  6. Pathaan (2023): Rs 1,055 crore.

  8. Pushpa: The Rule - Part 2 (2024): Rs 1,002 crore.

Sequel to the 2021 release Pushpa: The Rise, director Sukumar's Pushpa 2: The Rule hit the theatres on Dec. 5. The second part of the franchise picks up where it left off in the first instalment. The film revolves around the story of red sandalwood smuggling with Allu Arjun in the lead. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles.
