The next generation of Vivo's V-series smartphones could arrive in India as soon as next month. While official details remain under wraps, a Geekbench listing has reportedly revealed that the Vivo V70 FE will run on a MediaTek chipset.

The device is expected to sit alongside the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, with the higher-end models tipped to offer Snapdragon chips and Zeiss-branded cameras.

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, known online as @yabhishekhd, the Vivo V70 FE has appeared on Geekbench under the model number V2550.

The benchmark entry shows an OpenCL score of 2,507 and points to an octa-core processor with a top frequency of 2.50 GHz, paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, indicating the use of MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC.

The benchmark entries indicate that the Vivo V70 FE is running Android 16 and is equipped with 7.25 GB of RAM, which typically corresponds to an 8 GB configuration. Additional memory options are also expected, with further details likely to emerge in the weeks ahead.

Official details of Vivo's next V-series smartphones are yet to be confirmed, but recent leaks point to an India launch by mid-February. In addition to the Vivo V70 FE, the lineup is expected to include the Vivo V70 and the higher-end Vivo V70 Elite, both of which are said to feature Qualcomm-powered hardware, Sony sensors and Zeiss imaging technology. The new range is set to replace the existing Vivo V60 family.

According to recent leaks, the Vivo V70 could be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the top-tier Vivo V70 Elite may pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. If the FE variant does opt for a MediaTek platform, it would break from the Snapdragon trend seen across the rest of the lineup. The smartphones are expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box.

As per a GSMArena report, the Vivo V70 may arrive as a renamed S50, following the model's launch in China last month. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, a dual 50 MP rear camera setup including a periscope telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor. A 6,500 mAh battery and a 50 MP selfie camera could also be part of the device.
