The Vivo V50 has been launched in India today. More than five months after the release of the Vivo V40, this new model comes with several changes. The Vivo V50 will be in a head-to-head battle with the OnePlus 12R and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Vivo V50 price starts at Rs 34999.

Vivo V50 Pricing And Availability

The Vivo V50 comes in two variants: a 128GB storage model priced at Rs. 34999 and a 256GB variant priced at Rs. 36999. Pre-orders are now live, with the first sale starting on February 25.

The device is available for purchase on Flipkart, Vivo’s official stores, and other retail outlets. HDFC credit card holders get special launch offers, including an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on purchases. Moreover, No-cost EMIs for up to 6 months are also available.

Vivo V50 Specifications And Features

The V50 shares a lot in common with the previous V40, and some features are better. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Just like V40, the dual rear camera system consists of a pair of 50-megapixel sensors, but these sensors are different. It has a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies. It continues to have the same 6.78-inch quad-curved FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The V50 follows V40's design blueprint, but it comes in new colours including Titanium Grey, Rose Red and Starry Night. It's slimmer at 7.39mm thin, 199g, and has a glass back.

The larger 6,000mAh battery is a key upgrade, while also supporting 90W fast charging versus the previous 80W.

In addition, it also has better water resistance (IP68, IP69), which is evident in premium phones. Among the V50's AI features are Circle to Search, AI Transcript and AI Live Call Translation, which could help enhance the camera experience.
