Oppo recently teased the imminent launch of a new K-series smartphone in India, with widespread expectations pointing to the Oppo K15 series as the successor to the Oppo K13 lineup from 2025. A dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming availability through the platform upon launch. The company used the tagline “Get ready for the Next K” in its teasers to build anticipation.
Oppo K15 Series: What We Know So Far
Reports suggest the upcoming device will be branded as the Oppo K15 series, with Oppo skipping the K14 naming entirely to jump to K15. The series will potentially include a standard Oppo K15 (vanilla model) and a variant like the Oppo K15x, although it is not yet official which variant (or whether both) will be unveiled in the upcoming launch.
The promos on Flipkart hint at the phone's design, showing a flat rear panel, along with a pill-shaped dual rear camera module positioned next to an LED flash on the left.
The launch is anticipated sometime in February 2026, possibly mid-month, targeting the mid-range segment with competitive pricing and features like large batteries, fast charging, and performance upgrades over the preceding lineup.
This follows the release of the Oppo K13 in April 2025 and the Oppo K13x in June 2025. The Oppo K13 came with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Amoled display, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. The Oppo K13x was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, featuring a 6.67-inch LCD display and 6,000mAh battery.
