Is WhatsApp Launching iPad App Soon? Check Details
WhatsApp has already been testing an iPad app through Apple's TestFlight beta programme for nearly two years.

Meta-owned WhatsApp has recently hinted at the possibility of launching a dedicated app for iPad users. The instant messaging company with over 3 billion users worldwide, continues to expand its presence across platforms— from Android and iPhones to Mac and web browsers. However, iPad users have long awaited a dedicated app.
The official WhatsApp account has responded with the 'eyes' emoji — often used to signal attention or upcoming developments, on two user posts on X that has reignited speculation about an imminent iPad app launch.
In a recent post on X, a user remarked: "They should add WhatsApp on iPad." While another user remarked: "I wonder how the iPad app is coming along."
Both the posts got the much talked about 'eyes' emoji, that has stirred some reaction among the users. Though there’s still no official announcement or release date, the social media tease has raised hopes that a native iPad version is nearing completion.

WhatsApp has already been testing an iPad app through Apple's TestFlight beta programme for nearly two years. While the beta group is currently full, early users have reported a stable and well-optimised experience, pointing to a mature development phase.
Currently, iPad users can access WhatsApp only through WhatsApp Web, which requires linking to a phone and lacks the native features and tablet-optimised interface available on other platforms. Despite WhatsApp's multi-device support for desktops and browsers, the absence of a dedicated iPad app has remained a long-standing gap in its ecosystem.
The growing demand for a native iPad experience and Meta's continued beta testing suggests a public rollout could be on the horizon.
