The world of foldable smartphones is heating up and two big players are making a splash, Motorola’s Razr 60 Ultra and OnePlus' Open 5G. Both are sleek, futuristic and feature packed. However, which one is the good choice for you? Let’s break it down.

Design And Display

The most interesting thing when it comes to foldable phones is their unique display and design. While Motorola's Razr 60 Ultra keeps things compact with a 7-inch pOLED LTPO display. This phone is sharp, and fast as it has a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and it also Fold's right in your pocket. Additionally, it has a 4-inch cover screen that's great for quick tasks without opening the phone.

On the contrary, we have the OnePlus Open 5G which is quite bigger. The phone has a 7.82 inch Super Fluid Amoled display that gives you a tablet-like feel. If you love binge-watching or multitasking, this phone is just for you. The phone has a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is slightly lower but is still very smooth.

Performance, Battery Life

Now, comes the most important part: battery life. Here, OnePlus stays ahead with a 4805mAh battery compared to Razr’s 4700mAh.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the OnePlus Open is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Whether you need a phone for basic tasks, or a beast for heavy usage, these phones might be the one for you.

Camera

The newly launched Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has a 50 MP dual rear camera along with a 50 MP front camera. Whereas, the OnePlus Open has a triple camera setup with 48 MP wide lens, 64 MP telephoto lens and 48 MP Ultra wide lens along with a 20MP + 32MP ultra wide angle lens at the front.

Pricing

Now, let's talk money. For the more affordable option, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is expected to be priced at EUR 1,299, which is about Rs 1,26,000. However, the OnePlus Open 5G is priced at Rs. 1,49,998 but, for that extra money, you do get a larger screen and battery.

Final Thoughts

If you are into something compact, stylish and practical, the Razr 60 Ultra is most probably your perfect foldable. However, if you desire more screen space and some more power, the OnePlus Open 5G could be worth the splurge. It really depends on what you’re looking for in your next foldable.
