Neeraj Chopra At Ostrava Golden Spike 2025: Check Time, Live-Streaming Details

World champion Neeraj Chopra will aim to continue his winning spree as he enters the javelin throw event at the 64th edition of the Ostrava Golden Spike event in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, fresh from his victory at the Paris Diamond League less than a week ago.
The Golden Spike, which was first held in 1961, is a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meet, making it one of the most prestigious global athletics competitions, only after the Diamond League series.
The double Olympic medalist had withdrawn from the Golden Spike in the last two years due to injury. He is competing on the home turf of his coach, Jan Zelezny.
This event marks the fifth competitive outing for Chopra in the 2025 athletics season.
At the Doha Diamond League, Chopra finished second after crossing the elusive 90 m mark for the first time in his career. The first place went to Germany's Julian Weber.
Chopra was again beaten by Weber at the Janusz Kusocinski Memorial in Poland and finished second. Finally, at the Paris Diamond League last week, he beat Weber to take first place with a best throw of 88.16 m.
Though Weber is absent from the Ostrava Golden Spike event, Chopra will have plenty of competition due to the participation of 2016 Rio Olympic Champion Thomas Rohler and Anderson Peters, a two-time World Champion.
