Fresh Covid-19 cases in India jumped to the highest in more than two months, crossing the 4,000-mark.
The country reported 4,041 new coronavirus cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on June 3.
Active Covid-19 cases rose to 21,177 as fresh additions continued to outpace one-day recoveries.
