Maharashtra Sees 81.6% Rise In Daily Covid-19 Cases
Maharashtra reported a 81.6% rise in daily Covid-19 cases after the state reported 1,881 new cases on June 6, PTI reported, citing state government data.
Mumbai alone reported 1,242 new cases on June 6, up from 676 on June 5.
Fresh Covid-19 cases in India dropped below the 4,000-mark.
The country reported 3,714 new coronavirus cases and seven deaths in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on June 7. One-day recoveries stood at 2,513.
Active Covid-19 cases in India jumped to the highest in almost three months, crossing the 26,000-mark.
